Kakobuy Fees Explained
Basic agent purchasing is listed as fee-free, but a real total can still include domestic freight, international shipping, payment processing, customs-related charges and optional services.
| Cost | Published rule | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Agent service fee | ¥0 for basic purchasing | Optional services remain separate |
| Personalized photo | ¥2 per image | State exact requested view |
| Priority purchase | ¥5 per goods order (OG) | Buyer working hours and processing target |
| Declaration service | Generally listed around ¥8 per parcel | Line-specific rules |
| Storage | 100 days; reminder around day 90 | Late goods may be treated as abandoned |
| PayPal | Public pages conflict: 2.9% or 3.5%, plus $0.30 | Trust the amount shown at checkout |
What “zero service fee” actually means
It means the basic agent purchasing action is not listed with a separate percentage-based service fee. It does not mean the entire transaction is free. The item price and Chinese domestic shipping are paid before the goods reach the warehouse. Later, the international parcel creates another charge based on route and billable weight. Payment processing, declaration handling and optional services may also apply.
Kakobuy PayPal Fees: Why Published Rates Differ
Kakobuy’s public help pages currently display different PayPal figures. One page shows 3.5% plus $0.30 and another shows 2.9% plus $0.30. A responsible guide should surface that conflict and tell buyers to check the amount displayed by the actual payment flow instead of selecting the more attractive number.
